Still on Week 5 - the Rollyo

Found this tool to be pretty interesting and useful. Helpful if you know which are the freqently used websites for a certain topic or area of interest and you just narrow your search to just those websites, instead of trawling the entire web for information.

Quite a nifty website really, as you can personalise it and decide on which are your areas of interest (e.g. reference, online shopping, which are already there) and then add your own search engines. To create a link to the search roll, you have to make it available to the public. You can also add other people's search rolls to your home page and use them. To see what other search rolls there are, just click on explore right on top, and then you can see the websites linked to that search, and just click on add to my Rollyo.

I have created this one to narrow down searches on the Singapore economy at this link:

This will be a useful tool to put on Mel for the students when they do their newspaper aricle assignment for MIEC :)
